You have hundreds of wedding plans to make. Deciding who will bring your memories to life is one of your most important.
When the flurry and excitement of your wedding is over, it’s beautifully captured images that help you revisit the romance, emotion and spirit of an event that passes so quickly.
So, how do you choose the best wedding photographer for you?

Let’s get together — on the phone, at your favourite coffee spot, even SKYPE — I’m flexible. We’ll chat about your wedding day, confirm your date, and discuss all the fun details. Together, we’ll select the perfect package for your wedding. Once we confirm the details, I’ll prepare your contract. After you return your signed contract and the retainer fee, I’m officially your wedding photographer!

12 Weeks Before Your Wedding:
We plan your complimentary engagement session and decide on a date and location. Engagement sessions are a great time for us to go over posing and to get to know each other a little better before the big day.
6 Weeks Before Your Wedding
I send a questionnaire to get all your details, so I can start planning your shoot.
4 Weeks Before Your Wedding
Your final payment is due.
2 Weeks Before Your Wedding
We confirm the details from your questionnaire and address changes or questions.
Your Wedding Day
I follow your timeline as your day unfolds.
1 Week After Your Wedding
Sneak peek images are posted to Facebook, Instagram and my blog for your friends and family to view.
8-12 Weeks After Your Wedding
You can expect to receive your completed wedding gallery via an online digital gallery. This gallery will allow you to download your images for you to keep forever.
Engagement Sessions
SHOW YOUR LOVED ONES HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Engagement sessions add so much to the story of who you are as a couple right now, and they’re an ideal way to become more comfortable in front of my lens before your wedding day. Your engagement session can be as simple as a stroll through your favourite park, an intimate meal at your favourite café, or even a romantic return to where he proposed — anything you can imagine to share the imagery of your personal love story. Formal or informal, images from your engagement session are beautiful additions to your wedding album, and also make a wonderful signing book. They help to craft the whole story, and can even be used for save-the-date cards, invitations or thank you cards. Engagement sessions are complimentary with most of my wedding day packages.

Memorable weddings don’t just happen. They take a bit of organization. To ensure a smooth flow of beautifully captured memories of your day, a timeline of wedding events will help guide your planning.
GETTING READY
THE BRIDE & GROOM
1.5 to 2 hours
These are always a fun time to capture, and I highly recommend writing letters to each other to read before you see each other. Also, plan for some extra time if you wish to do a “first look” before the ceremony.
THE WEDDING CEREMONY
15 minutes to 1.5 hours
The length of your ceremony may vary widely. Afterward, allow more time for formal portraits (if planned) to allow your guests to leave the church or venue.
FORMAL GROUP & FAMILY PORTRAITS
30 minutes to 1hour
Formal portrait timing can vary widely depending on group size and family/group combinations.
WEDDING PARTY & THE NEWLYWEDS
1 to 3 hours
Timing can depend largely on the venue, size of the bridal party and variety of poses.
YOUR RECEPTION
2 to 6 hours
Your first dance, cutting the cake, speeches and dancing!
SUNSET
20 minutes
It’s always a nice touch to your wedding album to allow some time for sunset photos. When the two of you can just slip away for a few minutes and soak in the day together while capturing some beautiful sun-kissed images.

How would you describe your shooting style?
My style is natural story-telling with truthful images that show the
connection between my clients. I aim to capture your day as it unfolds and usually only give direction for posing when shooting the formal bridal party portraits. The rest of the time I will capture you and your partner as you are, enjoying your day surround by your loved ones.
How far in advance do I need to book your services?
I advise my couples to book their wedding photographer as soon as they confirm a wedding date. The most popular days on weekends during the summer always fill up fast, so the sooner the better to avoid disappointment.
What if it rains on my wedding day?
We will discuss wet weather options prior to your day and ensure we have a solid backup plan, in case of weather emergencies.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I love to travel and will happily travel anywhere in the world for your wedding. We can discuss any associated costs further upon meeting.
How long is the typical coverage for a wedding day?
The most popular choices are 8 or 10 hours.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes, I do. I retouch all the images using Adobe Suite. I will choose the best of the best from your photos and perform subtle editing so your photos will have the most beautiful feel to them.
How many photos will we receive?
I aim to deliver approximately 50-60 images per hour of coverage or an image per minute. So, for example, an 8 hour wedding day would equal approximately 480 images. If a second shooter is present that number could be greater. I believe in quality over quantity. All images are carefully selected to ensure the best quality of work is received by you.
When will I receive my images?
Clients will receive their images approximately 12 weeks after the wedding date. During this time you will receive sneak peeks via my blog, email and social media.
I don't want an engagement session, can I receive a discount?
Unfortunately no, my engagement sessions are complimentary and not transferable for a discount. However, if you do not wish to have an engagement session, I am happy to provide an extra 30 mins of photo coverage on your wedding day for no extra cost.
